I’ve been meaning to write about a new client that we got over a month back. Thanks to all the other social media output that I’ve been working on, this one just took a lot of time. So I’ll keep it short.
After a few weeks of back and forth talks, emails and phone conversations, I started with ‘The Centre for Responsible Business’, a project transitioning into an organization, it hopes to become a center of excellence on all things related to ethical business, from training workers, working with accrediting standard setting bodies, crediting businesses. The whole lot. And it’s a project currently funded by GIZ ( a large German development project funding body), SAI (Creators of the SA 8000, a social certification standard) and BSCI ( a European social standard setting body).
It’s BlueAnt Digital’s first even foray into the Non-governmental, private-public-partnership space. It’s been challenging; jargon itself is a lot to cut through.
Although I’ve started with analyzing the competition in the Responsible Business space, the aim of the exercise to create an identity and a communication strategy for the Centre. That is going to entail everything, from writing down ‘key messages’ for different ‘target demographics’ to deciding on color schemes and logo designs. (See I’m doing the jargon thing myself).
As always, I’m looking forward to designing the interaction, the messaging skeleton, on how people will use, share and socialize on the CRB’s future online space.
Till that happens, I’m going back to collecting data and writing reports!
