At BlueAnt Digital, Video production is something we happened to stumble upon. Almost a year ago, our then newest client ‘Anglian Football’ asked us to start shooting ‘basic video’ to share across social media. What started off with a point and click not-quite-complete-HD camera has grown into multiple camera shoots, supported by a variety of microphones and custom built soundtracks. The garage computer is becoming a studio. Last week Anglian announced it’s second sport’s company ‘Anglian Medal Hunt Company’. AMHC as its called, is looking to support current and future olympians via better equipment, access to coaching and more able management. During the announcement, they signed on their first three athletes KT Irfan (a 20Km walker who represented Indian at the 2012 UK Olympics), Shiva Thapa (a BantamWeight Boxer who was also at the 2012 Olympics) and Basanta Bahadur Rana (India’s first ever 50Km walker at the Olympics). We were there to capture the event, to shoot video and create a social media campaign around it. The very first video, an introduction to the athletes and their stories went online late last night, after several sleepless days of editing. We’re quite happy with the final result (which you can see above). Its one of the best videos we’ve made till date. We hope you like it. And yes, we cant wait to make more! PS: special thanks to Amrit Sharma, who is now guiding us in everything to do with content and style.
