Tech Mahindra Foundation Print Design

Tech Mahindra Foundation is the CSR arm of Tech Mahindra, a large IT services company.


Tech Mahindra Foundation reached out to us to design print collaterals for three of their programmes:

ARISE, SMART and Shikshaantar.

For each of the programmes we had to design brochures that carried information about the programmes, details about their various components, their impacts and success stories. The challenge was to introduce each program without being pedantic and preachy.


ARISE (All Round Improvement in School Education) is an initiative by Tech Mahindra Foundation that works to improve the quality of education in government and aided schools. We wanted to show the impact of ARISE programs through the eyes of a character that went to one schools that TMF worked with.

As a result, the brochure used the character of a young girl, Titli, to tell about the impact of good schooling on kids and on her family. Through her story, Titli introduces all the components and activities that makes the ARISE program.

For SMART, which provided vocational training to citizens with no formal education, the brochure focused on beneficiaries of the programme and its overall impact so far. The design thus used real photos instead of illustrations used in the ARISE brochure.

The Shikshaantar brochure, focused on teachers and their training, had a design inspired by classrooms and blackboards.


We designed event collaterals (posters, standees and merchandise) to match the brochure design for each of the programmes. In addition to these, we also created a standard design that could be used across TMF’s brand collaterals – visiting cards, envelopes and letter heads. The brochure and all collaterals were very well received by TMF.
